OUR STORY

Capsule Wine is the brainchild of two passionate wine enthusiasts, Chris and Jonesy, who met whilst working in the media industry.
 

A lifetime in media is often spent thinking of new ideas and we came to realise that our thoughts generally revolved around a mutual love of good quality wine.

So much so, that after six months of working together, Chris entrusted Jonesy with picking the wines at the most important day of my life - my upcoming wedding.

Good conversation with friends over a nice bottle of wine, is one of life’s great pleasures. We wanted to tap into this simple truism and provide an outlet for this.
 

Capsule Wine is the result of making dreams a reality, passionate debate and finding resolutions together over a shared love of fine wine.

Many more people than ever before are willing to pay a bit more for a high-quality drink. Ultimately people are happy to trade up for a better experience.  As we become connoisseurs about our drink of choice, we are more and more inclined to buy a bottle of something noteworthy to share with a friend for that special occasion; whether that be a wedding, christening, anniversary, birthday, graduation or leaving gift. You name it, a nice bottle of something distinctive fits the bill. Amongst all of this, wine is unique in that some of it appreciates over time.

This is the junction at which Capsule Wine sits. Curated wines that will appreciate in both quality and value over time.

We are genuinely excited about the future and potential of Capsule Wine. We value input from customers, so please feel free to tell us about the sort of wines, grapes, countries or occasions we should cater to more often.
